Recycled, reusable and recyclable again

Atoma started in 1948 the production of the revolutionary original binding system which made it possible to add or remove page in the books.  Meanwhile, the third generation, Chantal Vancanneyt and her brother Pierre-Michel, has been at the head of the company for several years. The first Atoma notebooks are already sixty-seven years old.  The original binding system with plastic rings has hardly changed since.

Atoma always uses high quality 90-gram long fiber paper. It is extra white and offers extra strength through the long fibers. This strength is useful so that the paper hooks well behind the rings. Atoma is a certified supplier of the Belgian Royal Court.

Atoma belongs to the FSC® Chain of Custody Group certificate of De & D Consult with COC number: CU-COC-809718-JO. The Forest Stewardship Council, FSC® has been established short after the VN conference of Rio ’92 by environmental organizations, social groupings and economic elements with as objective the aiming for a justified supervision of the woods.
Vision of FSC®: The woods in the world fulfill social, ecological and economic needs of the current generation, without limiting them for future generations. FSC® promotes a worldwide justified supervision of the woods and this in a ecological, social and economic way. In order to guarantee the customer that it concerns a FSC® product, a control during this process is necessary.  The FSC® Chain of Custody certification makes this possible. The paper of our books has the FSC® label, as well the covers in polypropylene, FSC® Mix.

The Bio-atoma collection is manufactured with recycled covers.
The atoma books are available with different possible Linings: blanc, L 8 mm, 5 x 5 mm, 4 x 8 mm, 6 x 6 mm, 4 x 4 mm, 10 x 10 mm, seyes and music.

Atoma has also an Atoma puncher, in order to make your own presentations.
The rings of our books are also recyclable.
